Restaurant Talk of The Town

01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled along the scenic Paseo Marítimo Rey de España in Fuengirola, Restaurant Talk of The Town delivers a quintessential local dining experience that brilliantly marries traditional flavors with a warm, inviting atmosphere. This beloved establishment, part restaurant, bar, and pub, has become a neighborhood favorite for both its culinary offerings and its genuine hospitality.

The heart of Talk of The Town’s appeal lies in its comforting, home-cooked meals, with a particular spotlight on their legendary Sunday Roast. Diners rave about the tender, succulent beef roast priced at just €9.50 and the richly flavored lamb at €10, each served with all the classic trimmings that evoke memories of hearty Sunday family dinners. The roasts come with beautifully caramelized vegetables, crispy roast potatoes, and a luscious gravy that envelops every bite in warmth and satisfaction. For a sweet finish, their €5 desserts offer delightful indulgence, making for a perfectly rounded meal.

Beyond the plates, the ambience at Talk of The Town is nothing short of charming. Imagine settling in with a front-row seat to panoramic sea views while enjoying your meal—the kind of scene that Stephen described as a “View to die for.” The venue hums with a relaxed energy, great for leisurely lunches or cozy evening gatherings, where the friendly and attentive staff, fluent in both English and Spanish, make everyone feel instantly at home.

The tapas and snack options add a delightful dimension to the menu, perfect for sharing or pairing with one of the well-crafted drinks from the bar. As customer S Magocs highlighted, it’s an ideal spot to “grab a drink and watch the world go by,” capturing the laid-back yet vibrant spirit of Fuengirola’s beachfront culture.

Prices here are refreshingly reasonable, aligning quality with value—a fact that resonates strongly with regulars like Steve Bould, who has already booked his next Sunday visit. Whether you are a local or a traveler fortunate enough to wander in, the Talk of The Town offers a culinary embrace that feels less like a business and more like a cherished community hub.

In short, Restaurant Talk of The Town is more than just a meal—it’s an experience steeped in tradition, warmed by genuine smiles, and situated in a stunning seaside location. For anyone seeking comfort food served with heart on the Costa del Sol, this spot earns its name every day.

Had a fantastic Sunday Roast at The talk of the town. Beef €9.50 Lamb €10 deserts €5. Very Friendly Staff and we have already booked for next Sunday. Well worth a visit. We had not been here before and after asking on FB, we decided to try this one. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they are open every day. The prices seem very reasonable. We can’t wait until next Sunday, so we are going to try them out on Tuesday after the Market.

Love this neighborhood restaurant. Home cooked meals is my weakness... it's Talk of the Towns strength! Sunday eve we enjoyed the tradition Roast dinner with all the fixings. Next time we will order the cauliflower to share rather than 1 per person.

I really like this restaurant. Have been here many times, for my morning breakfast. They are very friendly towards all guests, and you can here that alot of the guests have been there many times. There are also very dog friendly. The food (breakfast) is good with fresh pressed orange juice which is not watered down. There are outdoor sitting with views of the sea.

25th February -Great service and a song from the staff, everyone says their Sunday lunch is the best but this one takes some beating, the roast lamb was extremely tasty, don't have much breakfast before you go you get a big plate full of dinner, I'll be back next week for more. Had 2 local sister's in for lunch today 3rd march and they both had never had a Yorkshire pudding before and I also warned them about the huge portions, we all went home stuffed, great meals once again, and best wishes once again to the boys and girls at the TALK OF THE TOWN from me. Back again September 2025, great service from sussie and maddie out front, amazing liver and onions, loads of tasty mashed potatoes and a lovely mug of tea. Great food and service as usual, 5 stars. Christmas eve 2025 lovely sunny day plenty of customers and of course great liver and onions. New years day back for more delicious liver and onions, one of my recent Talk of the town liver photos already has over 7000 views.
